What personal data is collected?

This data is: (1) IP address, (2) browser type and version, (3) internet service provider (ISP), (4) referring source or exit page (referrer URL), (5) content accessed (HTML page, images, etc.), (6) operating system used and (7) time and date of the server request. The temporary storage of this data is necessary to operate the website technically (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not combined with other data sources.
This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) to store your cookie consents. Borlabs Cookie does not process any personal data. The borlabs-cookie cookie stores the consents you gave when entering the website. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie in your browser. How is your personal data used?
We use your personal data to make our website secure, pleasant, interesting and efficient for you. In addition, we use your personal data to answer your inquiries, send you messages and improve the content of our website.
External services such as Google Analytics, HubSpot and Customer.io
To improve the quality of our website and its content, we use a web analytics service with IP anonymization (Google Analytics – Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This uses so-called “cookies”, which are stored on Google servers in the USA. You can prevent this by adjusting your browser settings or by using the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can object to future data collection at any time by clicking the following link: deactivate Google Analytics. This prevents your data from being collected on future visits to our website. You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google’s privacy policy.
We use HubSpot to manage customer relationships and for our online marketing activities, using HubSpot as CRM software, chatbot and assistant software, email and automation software and analytics software. This is an integrated software solution that covers various aspects of our online marketing and customer relationship management. The provider, HubSpot, Inc., 25 1st Street, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA, processes usage data such as websites visited, interest in content and access times, content data such as entries in online forms, and meta/communication data such as device information and IP addresses, according to its own information within the EU. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in managing data in a simple and cost-effective way. The data is deleted when the purpose of its collection no longer applies and there are no retention obligations. Further information can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
We use Customer.io to send automated emails. The provider, Peaberry Software Inc., 9450 SW Gemini Dr., Suite 43920, Beaverton, Oregon 97008-7105, USA, organizes and analyzes the sending of emails, among other things. The data you provide for the purpose of automated email sending (e.g. with a contact request) is stored on Customer.io’s servers. If you do not wish to receive emails from Customer.io, you can unsubscribe at the end of each email. For analysis purposes, emails sent with Customer.io contain a so-called tracking pixel that connects to Customer.io’s servers when the email is opened. This makes it possible to determine whether a message has been opened. We can also use Customer.io to determine whether and which links in the message are clicked. All links in the email are so-called tracking links that allow your clicks to be counted. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The recipient of the data is Customer.io. The data is deleted when the purpose of its collection no longer applies and there are no retention obligations. Further information can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at https://customer.io/legal/gdpr/.
